All around New Zealand locally owned and operated 100% stores aim to provide customers looking for large and small home or office appliances and electronics, with the best service, deals and advice in the country.

Each store is owned by people who not only live in the local community, but can also offer the brand range and buying power which come with being part of a large group. So whether you buy online or in store, you know you are dealing with a NZ owned group who gives you all the benefits of a big retailer with the high level of personal customer service you’d expect when buying local. It’s the unique difference you enjoy when you buy from 100%.

Our stores have always been part of the New Zealand landscape. In fact some have been around more than 75 years and are truly family businesses, now owned in some cases by the third generation. Regionally known stores like 100% Barrells; 100% Albany Extreme; 100% Magness Benrow; 100% Van Dyks; 100% Dimocks; 100% Leader & Watt; 100% Newbolds; 100% Hertk Appliances; 100% Smith & Church; 100% Selectrix are just a few of the names Kiwis will recognise. We have 47 stores nationwide, so to find your local 100% store, click here.

At 100%, we are specialists in home appliances including kitchen, refrigeration, laundry, floorcare, heating, air conditioners, personal care and more. We also stock a wide range of electronics from the latest televisions to audio, notebooks, tablets, printers, cameras, phones and accessories.

In addition, we have the SleepMaker Bed range, exclusive to 100% and made right here in NZ.

And why are we called 100%?

It’s simple. 33.33% comes from the range of top quality appliances, 33.33% comes from the delivery and installation and 33.33% comes from our great after-sales service which all adds up to a 100% customer experience.

CONSUMERS PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD – 8 Years Running

Great service is not a slogan to us, it is an integral part of the way our store owners run their business. Just ask our customers who voted us ‘Consumers People’s Choice’ for the last eight years. Competing against some of the Major Domestic Appliance and Small Appliance Retailers in the category, the Consumer ‘People’s Choice’ endorsement programme enables New Zealand consumers to recognise excellence in products or services that perform strongly in overall satisfaction.

A ringing vote of confidence from our customers in the quality of service, brands and products our independent local retailers provide.

100% HAVE THE "MOST SATISFIED CUSTOMERS" IN 2023 ACCORDING TO CANSTAR BLUE

For the third year in a row,  100% has won the "Most Satisfied Customers' Award from Canstar Blue", in the Electronics Retailers category. When we learnt that over 1200 consumers, when surveyed,  stated that customer service is the most important criteria to them when making an appliance purchase, we knew our mission of 100% customer satisfaction was the right one.

To hear that 100% has won the 2023 "Most Satisfied Customers' Award from Canstar Blue", in the Electronics Retailers category for the second year in a row was hugely satisfying for us. Canstar General Manager Jose George said, "100% Appliances was a clear winner this year. Kiwis rated its offering extremely highly and were particularly impressed with its customer service.“

100% was also the only electronics retailer in the survey to earn the Canstar Blue top 5 Star rating for Overall Satisfaction. General Manager Craig Robertson commented:

"To win this accolade once is fantastic. To win it two years in a row,  is a real achievement, especially during such a challenging year for both our teams and our customers."

"This level of customer satisfaction is highly sought after in the retail industry. Our teams are delighted to be recognised especially given the fact that our 100% stores are truly local businesses, owned by people who live and work in the same community as our customers, and who are committed to living up to the inherent promise in their name."
