1OO% STORES WIN THE COVETED CANSTAR BLUE "MOST SATISFIED CUSTOMERS" AWARD FOR 2021

When market research of more than 1200 consumers states that customer service is the most important criteria to them when making an electronics purchase, you'd better hope that your business is up to scratch.

A brand that is living up to this yardstick is 1OO% stores, with a mission of 100% customer satisfaction. After all this group, made up of 47 locally owned and operated stores dotted around the length and breadth of New Zealand, has won the CONSUMER 'People's Choice' Award for the last six years in a row.

Given this consistent performance, it shouldn't come as a surprise that 1OO% have just won the 2021 "Most Satisfied Customers' Award from Canstar Blue, in the Electronics Retailers category. Canstar General Manager Jose George said, "1OO% Appliances was a clear winner this year. Kiwis rated its offering extremely highly, and were particularly impressed with its customer service. We know from our survey how important this is. While the majority of Kiwis research their purchases online before walking into a brick and mortar store, they really value the support they get on the ground. And 1OO% Appliances delivered. We congratulate them for their success."

Canstar Blue's mission is to inform Kiwi consumers of the best New Zealand has to offer and provide them with choices before purchasing. Interviewing more than 1200 customers who had made a purchase from one of the NZ category retailers over the last 12 months, Canstar Blue used the following criteria:

• RANGE OF PRODUCTS

• VALUE FOR MONEY

1OO% was the only electronics retailer in the survey to earn the Canstar Blue top 5 Star rating for Overall Satisfaction. And it's an achievement it replicated across the board, earning 5 Star Ratings for all criteria bar one. Only 'store layout' earned a 4 out of 5, which is probably due to the fact that each 1OO% store is owner operated and thus from store to store do not have the layout consistency of some of the larger Australian retailers.

Furthermore, Canstar Blue's latest research, shows that over a third of consumers say they respect and follow the advice of electronics' store staff, and cite customer service, not price, range of products or store layout, as the stand-out feature that drives their shopping satisfaction.

Newly appointed, Group General Manager Nadine Bell commented, "The research found that 1OO% Appliance Stores is New Zealand's favourite electronics retailer, winning 5-star ratings across drivers of satisfaction including customer service, value for money and range of products, which is quite some achievement in what has been a very challenging year for both our customers and stores throughout NZ."
